Tender Care. Lasting Strength. 〰️

You might find yourself here if you are:

  • Processing trauma or complex life experiences that still feel present

  • Exploring identity, including gender, sexuality, or sense of self

  • Part of the LGBTQ+ community and looking for affirming, nuanced care

  • Neurodivergent and wanting support that works with your brain, not against it

  • An athlete or high performer navigating pressure, injury, or identity beyond performance

  • Feeling stuck in relational patterns you don’t fully understand

Services

Therapy can be a place to set things down, understand yourself more deeply, and begin again with support. Whether you are navigating pain, change, or growth, you do not have to do it alone.

  • A thoughtful starting point where we clarify your needs, goals, and what support will feel most aligned.

  • A space to explore your internal world, whether you're processing trauma, navigating identity, or making sense of patterns that feel hard to shift.

  • Support for understanding attachment, communication, and the complexity of connection—across romantic, platonic, and chosen relationships.

  • Evaluations and letters of support for gender-affirming care, approached with respect, clarity, and an understanding of systemic barriers.

Working with Jess

Therapy with me is collaborative, direct, and grounded in curiosity.

I won’t pathologize you; I will help you understand patterns, defenses, and the impact of your experiences—so you can act from a values-aligned and authentic direction moving forward.

My Approach

My work is rooted in trauma-informed care, with an emphasis on nervous system awareness, meaning-making, and relational patterns.

I integrate evidence-based approaches with a deep respect for your lived experience. Building a genuine, trusting professional relationship is key to the change process — and you get to show up as you are — already accepted and worthy of care. We will cry together, laugh together, and learn together.

Therapy reconnects you to yourself, and as part of this holistic process, I incorporate practices inspired by African and Indian traditions of yoga.

We don't heal in isolation; we heal in connection.

— Esther Perel

Starting therapy can feel like a big step. You don’t have to do it perfectly.
